Cotton Paper Tree Helps KidsCan Charity
KidsCan, a charity specifically set up to support research into new and improved treatments for children with cancer, and based at the University were recently the benefactors of an art exhibition created by local artist and University of Salford Graduate Cheryl Beswick, in conjunction with Leftfield.
The exhibition entitled "Cotton Paper Tree" - a large scale drawing 9 metres in length and combining drawing, print and stitch, was a composition piece of 54 smaller pieces all of which were made available for auction in support of KidsCan and has so far raised over £250 for KidsCan.
