Moving Image
Cinema is just one of the many time-based visual media that have existed over a number of centuries. The Moving Image has become one of the most influential and powerful tools in art and communication in the modern era. New time-based visual media continues to be invented and developed. It incorporates media from video, film and television programming to advertising and web streaming. For artists it has the ability to combine all other art forms, which include visual, performance, sound, and text. It is said to most closely approximate the limitless creativity of our own dreams. Leftfield celebrates some of the most exciting talent in analogue/digital art across a range of artistic disciplines.
